CoinUnited.io has been building a crypto-powered gateway to global markets since 2018. Our Dublin office is hiring a Compliance and Risk professional to help us operate responsibly across crypto and traditional assets as we scale. You will sit close to the business, translating regulatory requirements into controls that operate across 24/7 markets.

This role is based in our Dublin office and forms part of our operations across Europe. You will work to Dublin market hours and support the international order flow connected to the Ireland market. Dublin is one of our market facing offices, close to the trading flow that runs across Europe at every hour.

CoinUnited.io is a crypto-powered trading platform, building since 2018, with teams across 19 countries. We give traders one account to reach global markets around the clock: crypto, stocks, indices, forex, commodities and pre-IPO.

What you'll do

  • Support day-to-day compliance and risk processes across trading, onboarding and transaction monitoring.
  • Monitor key controls, flag exceptions, and follow them through to resolution with the relevant teams.
  • Track regulatory developments across the markets we operate in and translate them into clear internal actions.
  • Maintain accurate records, policies and procedures so the business has a reliable audit trail.
  • Review activity across our 24/7 markets and escalate unusual patterns or potential risks promptly.
  • Work with product, engineering and operations to build compliance considerations into new features early.

What success looks like

In your first six months

  • You understand our core compliance and risk controls and can run routine monitoring independently.
  • You have built a working view of the regulations that affect our products and surface changes that matter.
  • You have improved at least one process or control so reviews are faster and findings are easier to act on.

What you'll bring

Must-have

  • Solid grasp of compliance or risk concepts, ideally in financial services, trading or crypto.
  • Careful, detail-driven approach to monitoring, documentation and follow-up.
  • Clear written and verbal communication that works across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift as the business grows.

Nice-to-have

  • Exposure to AML, KYC, transaction monitoring or regulatory reporting workflows.
  • Familiarity with crypto markets or multi-asset trading products.
  • Experience using data or basic queries to investigate and evidence findings.
